Your certification questions, answered.
Clear answers before you take the next step.
Which ISO certification should my organization consider?
Start with your activities, the issue you need to manage and any requirement from a customer or contract. Quality, environment, safety and information security address different subjects; the standard should match the intended purpose.
Does ISO issue the certificate?
ISO develops standards. External certification bodies carry out certification activities. Check the issuing body, the standard, the organizational scope and current certificate status.
Can we discuss more than one standard?
Yes. Identify the standards and explain whether their scopes, sites and shared processes align. Integrated assessment arrangements need review, and each standard retains its own requirements.
What determines certification cost and timing?
The proposed scope, activities, personnel, sites, assessment arrangements and applicable programme influence the quotation. Readiness, access to evidence and responses to findings also affect timing.
Can organizations outside your country enquire?
EQRM welcomes enquiries worldwide. Share the country and operating locations so availability, audit arrangements and applicable scope can be confirmed.
