Questions about verification

Where do I find the certificate number?

Use the certificate number printed on the EQRM document. Enter the complete number, including any punctuation. Letter case and spaces do not affect the search.

What should I compare with the result?

Compare the client organization, standard and edition, certified scope, sites, issue and expiry dates, and the displayed status. A matching number alone does not resolve differences in the other details.

Why might no record be found?

The number may be entered incorrectly, the record may not yet be available online, or it may require direct confirmation. Contact info@eqrmcert.com with the number and organization. A missing result alone does not prove that a document is invalid.

Does a QR code prove that a certificate is genuine?

A QR code is a route to information and can be copied. Check that it leads to the expected EQRM website, then compare the displayed record with the document and organization.

How should I interpret certificate status?

Active indicates the current recorded status within the shown dates. Suspended, withdrawn, expired and superseded records should not be represented as active. If the record or scope is unclear, request confirmation from EQRM.
