EQRM INFORMATION
Editorial Policy and Sources
ON THIS PAGE
Sources and original explanation
Standards references should be checked against the publisher’s catalogue or other authoritative material. Market context should use identifiable local or regional sources, with geographic boundaries explained. A source describing a metropolitan region should not be presented as evidence about every business in its central city.
Our guides use original explanations and hypothetical scenarios to show how scope, evidence and assessment questions arise. Such scenarios are not client case studies. We do not invent testimonials, staff biographies, office locations or performance statistics.
AI assistance and responsibility
AI tools assisted the preparation of this content. Publication does not make an AI-generated statement authoritative. Factual claims need supporting sources, and technical or operational claims require appropriate review before they are relied upon in a certification engagement.
No article byline should imply that a named expert reviewed material unless that review occurred and the attribution is authorized. Organizational authorship identifies the publisher; it is not a substitute for technical validation.
Editions and updates
A standards page should identify the edition being discussed and distinguish published requirements from proposals or draft revisions. Publication of a new edition does not, by itself, establish transition deadlines or a certification body’s authorization to issue against it.
Update content when a relevant publication, transition decision or service fact changes. Do not change an article’s date merely to make unchanged information look new. Substantive corrections should be reflected in the text and, where useful, explained to readers.
Market and service claims
A market page describes considerations for an enquiry from that location. It does not establish a local office or guarantee service availability. Accreditation, recognition and sector coverage claims need evidence specific to the claim.
Corrections
Email info@eqrmcert.com with the page address, the statement in question and a supporting source where available. Explain whether the concern is a factual error, an outdated reference or unclear wording so that the relevant issue can be reviewed.
